Synopsis: The production team for the “Halloween” reboot, I claimed in my review, “really didn’t understand what made the first film a masterpiece.” Not to be that person, but if the disorganized “Halloween Kills” didn’t demonstrate my point, the perplexing “Halloween Ends” definitely does. This sequel is so odd because Green and his team struggle to marry their evident ambition to anything that makes sense. It’s easy to applaud their big swings at trying something fresh with a trilogy finale. Similar to the criticism of the extremely divided “Halloween 3: Season of the Witch,” which is referenced in part by the structure’s deliberate departure from the Michael Myers formula, It’s hard to call “Halloween Ends” a Halloween film. However, it must return to Laurie Strode, even though the convoluted path these films took to get there robbed the final showdown of any sense of urgency. Instead of concluding what was started in the previous movie, it introduces a new antagonist and spends way too much time on a half-baked young love story. The fact that everyone is aware that the film’s title is a fabrication obviously doesn’t help. In the future, there will be another “Halloween” film, which will make this digression even more of an oddity in the development of a horror legend. Even though “Halloween Pauses” doesn’t seem as thrilling. Look movie is the closest thing to a genuine movie and tv series online.
