Synopsis: Waverly is on the verge of starting a residency in Toronto to fulfill her dream of becoming a doctor. However, her mother, Mrs. Liu, who resides in Taipei, has arranged a summer opportunity for Waverly that she is not interested in. Instead, Waverly decides to go to a small community in Canada where her aunt, Rachel, works as a local artist. Her intention is to escape from the pressure and expectations placed upon her. Waverly deliberately ignores her mother’s calls and explores the town, where she encounters friendly individuals who warmly welcome her. One of her neighbors, Blake, a lifeguard, notices that Waverly cannot swim after she falls into a lake. He kindly offers her swimming lessons in the mornings to assist her. As they embark on this aquatic journey together, an undeniable attraction begins to develop between them. However, they must navigate the complexities of their individual situations.
