Synopsis: In the movie American Carnage, newly elected governor Harper Finn (Brett Cullen) issues an arrest warrant for every Latino resident of his state. This includes Lily (Yumarie Morales), who was recently admitted into college, and JP (Jorge Lendeborg Jr.), whose sister, works at Lady Liberty’s Burgers. They are split up and placed in correctional facilities. JP is advised to enroll in a program that entails volunteering to assist in an elderly care facility in order to have his sentence reduced. Along with his fellow prisoners Camila (Jenna Ortega), Chris (Jorge Diaz), Micah (Bella Ortiz), and “Big Mac” (Allen Maldonado), he arrives there. Facility administrator Eddie Davis (Eric Dane) reminds them of the harsh restrictions, which include no attempts at escape.
