Synopsis: Set in Toronto in 2003, Pixar’s Turning Red centres on 13-year-old Meilin “Mei” Lee. Which is all rule-abiding middle-schooler. She is the only child of his overprotective parents. Type-A Ming & Quiet Jin, who runs Buddhism. A temple in the city’s Chinatown. Mei and her three best friends Miriam, Priya, and Abby – are attracted to the popular boy band 4 Towns. One has a crush on a local teenager. who he works at a facility storeroom. One morning, after a disturbing dream, Mei transforms into a literal red panda. She finds out that the metamorphose is an ancestral rite of a path, for the women in her family when they reach youth. but that a lunar festival can confine the panda into an amulet. This goes on for some time. until all of his best friends make him understand that turning into a panda can be fun & cute too.
