Synopsis: Mira is unsure of her ability to experience romantic love ever again. Her relationship with her previous partner, John, was very ideal. They were about to experience the illusive happily ever after, which people claim doesn’t happen anymore. But it didn’t in their situation. John lost his life when a drunk driver caused an accident. In actuality, you don’t. Mira hasn’t, at least. Additionally, in the two years following John’s untimely passing, everything in her life has worsened. She was once a very popular children’s book author and illustrator. However, all of her previously joyful, rainbow-colored caterpillars are now dejected, tearful, and grey. Sister Mira and her friends have made an effort to help Mira get over her loss. Mira then makes the decision to try one piece of advice. He finds talking things out helpful. However, Mira feels foolish when she does this wine and vent ritual. It isn’t her. But then she gets an idea. She could text her feelings and thoughts as well. When John was out of town, she and John used to do that frequently. Rob himself has struggled with love on occasion. Just one week before their wedding, his fiancee abandoned him. And as a result, he is now somewhat depleted and romantically cautious. But suddenly, texts from an unknown number start arriving on his new work phone. text that is lovely. texts that are poetically infused with ideas of love, loss, and sadness. They help him get better. Rob’s coworkers reassure him that the words are most likely a ruse, a scam, or perhaps the ramblings of a spooky old grandmother lurking somewhere in the virtual ether.
