Synopsis: Two ladies attempt hard to flee the grips of Skylight, an insidious cult, in this film. Jillian (Malin Akerman) and Blair (Lorenzo Izzo) are drawn to the isolated desert campus known as “The Aviary” by the promise of “freedom.” They join forces to flee in the hopes of finding true freedom. As the film opens, we are trudging through the desert with Blair, a woman she lured into Skylight, a health group that uses NXIVM-style deprivation and cruelty to brainwash its members. The starved fugitives begin to hallucinate — and then distrust each other’s motives — as they flee the group’s charismatic leader, Seth. They can’t get rid of the impression that they’re being followed by the cult’s leader, Seth (Chris Messina), a man who is as attractive as he is dominating. The more the couple gets away from the group, the more Seth has power over their minds. With their supplies running out and their senses fading, Jillian and Blair must confront a terrifying dilemma: how do you flee an adversary who lives inside your head? The connections between Skylight and NXIVM are not hidden by the writer-director combo of Chris Cullari and Jennifer Raite. The film’s major flaw is that much of the running time is devoted to Jillian and Blair’s tired chats in the forest, in which they reminisce about their experiences in the city. That’s part of the appeal of films like The Aviary: not knowing until the very end, or, better yet, never knowing at all. Smaller budgets amplify this duplicity since they encourage filmmakers to come up with visually innovative ways to deliver their stories. lookmovie online free is the best and most-watched movie platform for all Hollywood lovers to watch all movies and TV shows here.
