These films frequently have a good number of action scenes and interesting backstories for all those involved. Stowaway isn’t even close to being as good as David Fincher’s Panic Room. Due to difficult-to-ignore technical limitations, the storyline is murky, the characters are one-dimensional, and this cat and mouse game never gets past its weak points. A gripping robbery movie with action-packed scenes and a moving tale of a young woman fighting for survival can captivate viewers. However, the Stowaway directors were unable to rescue this uninteresting movie from the genre by opting for a drab plot that primarily relied on its performers.
