Synopsis: In Hong Kong, Lee is trying to protect young Tom from harm, with the pair targeted by the evil Loo and her army of dark magic demons. She’s joined by the Zodiacs, with leader Hu, a tiger, doing his best to prevent a special Phoenix necklace from falling into the wrong hands. 15 years later, Tom is a teenager in San Francisco, struggling with bullies and befriending classmate Rav, but an, accidental display of hidden powers exposes him to Loo, who’s returned for the Phoenix necklace. While Lee hopes to ward off doom with the help of protective charms, Hu knows better, offering the teen access to a hidden world of Chinese zodiac magic as the Phoenix is placed around his neck for safekeeping. Hu and Tom are joined by rat Sidney and dragon Mistral, with the team looking to expand to full Zodiac power as Loo’s attacks increase, aiming to claim ultimate power.
