Synopsis: “The Lord of the Rings The Rings of Power S01E06” this series, The presumptive Helm’s Deep stand-in is demolished in the first few seconds of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which adds its own twist to the cliché of many orcs fighting a small number of humans. For a significant portion of the conflict, it turns out to be people fighting, not orcs. But before any combat begins, Adar stops to sow a seed in the name of “new life in defiance of death.” This is a pre-battle elvish custom, as we’ll discover later. Despite the fact that Adar has deviated from elvish customs in other ways, he maintains this one. That could be partially attributed to the fact that he doesn’t envision himself departing from elvish customs, at least not in some significant ways. He’s not above killing people during battle, but he does it for his “children,” the worshipping orcs. That is something to keep in mind when they turn into what appear to be mindless hordes, and it is especially important to keep in mind during the climactic scene of this episode.
