Synopsis: Tommy is stuck in life, still dealing with a break-up with Theresa, who’s gone on to have a baby with a new partner. He lives at home with his mother, Laurie, and barely deals with his daily routine. While walking to work one day, Tommy is approached by Andy Samberg in a limo, who offers the pedestrian a chance to participate in a dark web game show where, for 30 days, he’s hunted by shadowy assassins. To claim a large cash prize, Tommy must survive, which is possible if the player is near another human for 24 hours a day. Left with nothing to lose, Tommy agrees to the challenge, getting a sense of what’s expected of him as he tries to explain his new life to his family. Halfway through the game, another player, Maddy, contacts Tommy, with the pair working together to avoid being targeted, slowly bonding during the process.
