Synopsis: Margaret, a young American, is on her way to Italy to join nuns at the Vizzardeli Orphanage as she prepares to “take the veil.” Supported by Cardinal Lawrence, she is excited to create a beneficial influence on the world.. Margaret is paired with Luz, her roommate, who is interested in self-exploration before dedicating her life to God. At the orphanage, Margaret meets Carlita, a child kept separate from the others, sparking her curiosity.
